Dear Friends,
Charles Ma (Ma Chao) has passed due to a sudden cerebral hemmorhage. He left this world leaving behind his beloved wife, Jenny and only daughter, Charlene.

He was anxious to open up their new restaurant and more so to hear his daughter play piano for Father's Day. Unfortunately, he passed in his sleep on May 27th, 2012. He left this world too soon, at only the age of 52.

Charles was an extraordinary person, always striving to learn more and to do more. He loved his family and his friends and was sociable all around. At the end of his life, he donated his organs, helping save five people in need. He also gave bone marrow and bodily tissues, hoping that his sacrafice would make a difference in the lives of others.

Charles was a man of many words, always happy to converse with others. He was a hard worker, managing a small restaurant in order to support his family. His greatest fear in life was to be devoid of knowledge, he constantly tried to learn about new things, acquire new skills and to share them with those around him. His favorites included Shakespearean literature and classical music; he was truely a elegant and refined intellectual.

Charles was a loving father and a great friend to all. He was generous, donating much of his hard earned money to charities and asking nothing of it in return. Charles was a ordinary man, but he touched the hearts of many; his sudden departure will leave a void in those that knew him. He will be missed, may he rest in peace.
